Lee Scott in his ham shack.
Lee, AA1YN, has masterfully created a unique DSP-10 using his machining expertise to manufacture his own housings. He has a sizeable gallery of his DSP-10 project in various stages of construction at his web site http://www.aa1yn.com. Lee's radio interests center on VHF and above.

Jimmy Oldaker alongside his DSP-10.
Jimmy, W7CQ provides a glimpse of his neatly built rack mounted DSP-10 and Brickette amplifier. Above the DSP-10 is his Brooks Shera GPS controlled 10 MHz frequency standard, To see more of his equipment click on the small picture. Jimmy joined forces with Dick, KO7N for a joint website at http://home.teleport.com/~oldaker/. At this site they have many details of their DSP-10 projects,

Larry working with PUA43 code.
Larry Liljeqvist working Ernie Manly, W7LHL, with PUA43 digital code, provided by the DSP-10 on 10 GHz. The two have been testing propogation on 1296 MHz and 10 GHz for several years between the two locations. Larry is in Washougal, WA and Ernie is in Graham, WA, a distance of 159 km over very rugged terrain.

Ernie with his DSP-10
Ernie Manly listening for Bob, W7PUA's, two meter signal off the moon using the PUA43 code. You can see the DSP-10 transceiver to the right of the laptop computer. Ernie provides much of the beta testing for the DSP-10 software from his home at Graham, WA.
DSP-10 in the field!
Roger, W3SZ, "at the controls" says, "This was taken at the Microwave Update 2000. We were visiting Steve Kostro at DownEast Microwave. He had a 10 GHz weak signal source hidden and we were having an MDS contest. The DSP-10 with transverter won hands down!" The laptop computer is perched on the DSP-10.

9-Year Old Builder
Congratulations to Matthew on the help he provided on his Dad's DSP-10! Phil, KF8JW reported "My son Matthew Age 9 is building the DSP-10 here. He has soldered over 1/2 of the SMT chips and nearly all of the components."
